Indie Campers in Darwin is seeking a friendly Casual Employee for a Support & Cleaning role at our depot. You will help maintain our fleet and ensure vehicles are spotless and ready for guest bookings.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver’s license, can handle irregular schedules including weekends and holidays, and are physically capable of standing and moving for extended periods. We offer training, growth opportunities, bonuses, and free road trips across regions.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors to company standards and client requests.
• Verify and prepare vans before each booking.
• Perform inspections and keep complete, accurate records of vehicle condition.
• Move and park vans or pick clients from the airport.
• Clean and maintain all equipment, extras and consumables stored at the depot.
• Deliver and collect vehicles for repairs/maintenance or to specified locations.

THE ROLE

We’re looking for travel enthusiasts with a passion for guest service for our depot in Darwin. Reporting directly to the Branch’s Operations Supervisor, as a Casual Employee in a Support & Cleaning role, your mission will be to ensure an outstanding level of customer service and contribute to maintaining our fleet of campervans in top condition.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards and client requests;
• Verify and prepare and equip vans before each booking;
• Performing inspections and keeping complete, accurate records of the vehicle’s condition;
• Moving and parking vans or picking clients from the airport;
• Clean and maintain all equipment, extras and consumables stored at the depot;
• Deliver and collect cars from repairs and maintenance, or delivering vehicles to specific locations.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Valid Driver’s license and ability to drive a van (plus);
• Availability to work irregular schedules, weekends and national holidays;
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods;
• Eye for cleanliness and inspection;
• Communication, and interpersonal skills;
