Job summary

Healthcarelink Support is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our client’s expanding team in Hobart. The role focuses on an NDIs and disability context, offering opportunities to work with adult or paediatric clients and tailor caseloads to clinical expertise and career goals.

Key responsibilities include assessing and diagnosing communication disorders, developing individualised treatment plans, and collaborating with GPs and other allied health professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Speech Pathology.
• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• NDIS Worker Check.
• Satisfactory National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose communication disorders
• Design, trial, and implement low and high-tech communication devices
• Develop, implement, monitor, and review individualised treatment plans
• Assess and manage swallowing difficulties
• Collaborate with GPs and other allied health professionals
• Provide education to clients, families, and the community
