Job summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication and swallowing assessments.
• Develop individualised therapy plans based on client goals and clinical needs.
• Deliver evidence-based speech pathology interventions.
• Provide services to pediatric, adolescent and adult clients.
• Prepare clinical reports, treatment plans, progress notes and funding documentation.
• Work collaboratively with GPs, psychologists, occupational therapists, educators and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide education and support to families, carers and support workers.
• Participate in case conferences and multidisciplinary care planning.
• Maintain accurate clinical records.

Reliance Care Medical Centre is a multidisciplinary healthcare practice located in Truganina, Victoria. We provide comprehensive healthcare services including General Practice, Psychology, Pediatrician, Psychiatrist & Allied Health, and Specialist services. Our patient-centered approach focuses on delivering accessible, high-quality care to individuals and families across all age groups. We are NDIS registered provider since 2019 running multiple branches with 50 people working for us.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication and swallowing assessments.
• Develop individualised therapy plans based on client goals and clinical needs.
• Deliver evidence-based speech pathology interventions.
• Provide services to pediatric, adolescent and adult clients.
• Prepare clinical reports, treatment plans, progress notes and funding documentation.
• Work collaboratively with GPs, psychologists, occupational therapists, educators and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide education and support to families, carers and support workers.
• Participate in case conferences and multidisciplinary care planning.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with professional and legislative requirements.
• Master qualification in Speech Pathology.
• Current Certified Practising Membership (or eligibility) with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Current AHPRA registration (if applicable in future registration frameworks).
• Valid Working with Children Check.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Police Check.
• Professional indemnity insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience working with children with speech and language delays, autism spectrum disorder and developmental disorders.
• Experience providing NDIS-funded services.
• Knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
• Experience in report writing for NDIS, schools and other stakeholders.
• Bilingual skills highly regarded.
