Job summary

Carpentaria is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver person-centred therapy to NDIS participants across the Top End. You’ll be based in tropical Darwin, with regular travel to Maningrida, and work across the lifespan in home, school, clinic, and community settings.

You’ll join a passionate multi-disciplinary Therapy Services team, supported by Carpentaria’s 50+ year history of not-for-profit disability, therapy and community services for Territorians.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Speech Pathologist.
• Based in Darwin with willingness to relocate to Darwin or already based there.
• Willing to travel to Maningrida (overnight travel by light aircraft).
• Knowledge of NDIS (preferred).

• Deliver person-centred speech pathology therapy to NDIS participants across the Top End.
• Support children, adolescents and adults in home, school, clinic and community settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary Therapy Services team to support Territorians with disabilities.

We’re seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver person-centred therapy to NDIS participants across the Top End. You’ll be based in tropical Darwin, with the opportunity for regular travel to Maningrida.
In this role you’ll work across the lifespan, supporting children, adolescents and adults to reach their goals at home, school, in clinic, and across community settings. The clinician we’re searching for

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech Pathologist
• Based in (or willing to relocate to) Darwin, Northern Territory
• Willing to work in Maningrida (regular overnight travel via light aircraft)
• Commitment to innovative, person-centred services that promote choice and control
• Knowledge of the NDIS (preferred)
• Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples (preferred)
