Job summary

My Word Health in Wangaratta is seeking a Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our team. You may work from our Wangaratta and/or Albury offices with optional work-from-home days and rostered days off.

You’ll help empower rural children to access high-quality services and collaborate with dedicated health professionals across settings. The role emphasizes assessment and intervention for paediatric clients, with a strong focus on family-centred care and inter-disciplinary collaboration in rural

Qualifications

  • Tertiary Qualification in Speech and Language Pathology.
  • Current Certified Practicing Membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Current NSW and VIC Working With Children Check.
  • Valid National Police Check.
  • NDIS Mandatory Training Certificate + NDIS Worker Check.
  • Current Drivers Licence and reliable car.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve outcomes and utilise evidence-based practice.
  • Professional, warm and empathetic approach to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and intervene with paediatric caseload in clinics, schools, homes, or community settings.
  • Collaborate with families, schools and health professionals to meet client goals.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team including OTs, Key Workers and Assistants.

My Word Health is looking for a Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our passionate team in Wangaratta. The successful candidate can choose to work from our Wangaratta and/or Albury offices. Opportunities to include work from home days and rostered days off are also available. My Word Health is looking to expand our reach and support children in rural areas. Our team in Wangaratta are looking for a Speech Pathologist to bring additional skillset to our team and ensure no child is left behind.

The Role

The role of aSpeech PathologistatMy Word Healthis to provideassessment and intervention to a paediatric caseload byworking closely with families, schools, and other health professionals to meet client goals.Services can be provided in our clinics, the child's school, the family's home, or out in the community. Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Key Workers, and Allied Health Assistants helps us the provide a wide service option to better serve our clients. We care about connecting people to their world through communication and are committedto providing high qualityservices in rural areas so that no child is left behind, no matter where they live.
