Optimum Health Solutions is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our NSW clinics. You’ll work across adult and paediatric settings with a strong focus on NDIS and disability services, tailoring caseloads to interests and career goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Pathology (or currently completing final year studies).
• SPA eligibility or Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
• Working With Children Check and National Police Check.
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders.
• Speech, language and social communication interventions.
• Assessment and management of swallowing difficulties (dysphagia).
• Design, trial and implementation of low and high-tech AAC devices.
• Development, implementation and review of evidence-based therapy plans.
• Functional communication assessments.
• Parent, caregiver and stakeholder education.
• Collaborative care planning with Allied Health professionals, educators and medical practitioners.
• Community, clinic and school-based services.
