Job summary

Optimum Health Solutions is seeking a Speech Pathologist to support clients across adult and paediatric settings, with a strong focus on NDIS and disability services. You will tailor caseloads to your interests and career goals, joining a collaborative team of clinicians across multiple clinics.

You may be a qualified Speech Pathologist, a new graduate, or a final-year student graduating in 2026. Essential requirements include a degree, SPA eligibility, and WWC/Police checks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Pathology or currently completing final year studies.
• SPA eligibility or Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• A current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are required.
• Working With Children Check and National Police Check are required.
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose communication disorders.
• Provide speech, language and social communication interventions.
• Assess and manage swallowing difficulties (dysphagia).
• Design, trial and implement AAC devices (low and high-tech).
• Develop, implement and review evidence-based therapy plans.
• Conduct functional communication assessments.
• Educate parents, caregivers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Allied Health professionals, educators and medical practitioners.
• Deliver services in community, clinic and school settings.
