Dynamic Connections Therapy in Maryborough, Queensland, seeks a Speech Pathologist to provide comprehensive assessments and personalised intervention for clients across the lifespan within a growing multidisciplinary practice.

You will collaborate with families, teachers and other professionals, document findings and develop practical recommendations while balancing assessment, therapy and reporting time in a supportive, neuro-affirming environment.

Qualifications

• Recognised Speech Pathology qualification and eligibility for Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Skills in speech pathology assessment, intervention and report writing relevant to your experience and intended caseload.
• Commitment to neuro-affirming, person-centred, evidence-based and culturally responsive practice.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, carers and other professionals.
• The ability to organise your workload, maintain accurate clinical records and work within your professional competence.
• A reflective approach, willingness to seek support and commitment to ongoing professional development.
• An interest in contributing to the development of speech pathology within a multidisciplinary practice.
• Australian working rights and willingness to obtain or maintain the relevant screening clearances required for the role.
• Experience with children, adolescents, adults or a combination is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive speech pathology assessments using standardised tools and clinical observation.
• Deliver intervention for speech, language, literacy, fluency, voice and social communication.
• Support AAC assessment and intervention within your scope.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary neurodevelopmental assessment pathways.
• Prepare assessment reports and develop practical recommendations.
• Work with families, carers and educators to implement strategies across settings.
• Collaborate with DCT clinicians and external professionals for coordinated care.
• Contribute to groups, education and service development aligned with your interests.
