Job summary

Dynamic Connections Therapy in Maryborough, Queensland, is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our growing multidisciplinary practice. This full-time role offers a base salary of $99,000–$128,000 plus superannuation, with opportunities for part-time or contractor arrangements.

You will conduct assessments across the lifespan, provide evidence-based intervention and collaborate with families and professionals to support communication, participation and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Recognised Speech Pathology qualification and eligibility for registration
• Strong communication with clients, families and professionals
• Commitment to neuro-affirming, person-centred practice
• Ability to organise workload and maintain clinical records
• Willingness to ongoing professional development
• Interest in contributing to multidisciplinary service development
• Australian working rights and willingness to obtain required screening

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language and communication assessments
• Provide intervention for speech sounds, receptive and expressive language, literacy, fluency, voice and social communication
• Assess needs for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
• Contribute findings to multidisciplinary neurodevelopmental assessment pathways
• Prepare assessment reports and practical recommendations
• Provide evidence-based intervention linked to goals and daily life
• Collaborate with families, carers, educators and other professionals
• Support coordinated care with DCT and external clinicians
• Contribute to groups, education and service development
• Feeding and swallowing services may be considered where aligned with competence
• Workload planning includes time for preparation, scoring and reports
