Job summary

Avina is seeking Speech Pathologists to join our national allied health and behaviour support community. You will deliver evidence-based Speech Pathology services across home, school, clinic and community settings, with flexible and hybrid work options.

Join a growing multidisciplinary team that supports clinicians with supervision, professional development and collaboration, across NSW, QLD, VIC and SA.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Pathology and membership with Speech Pathology Australia (or eligibility).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Driver’s licence and access to a vehicle for community work.
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning and organisational skills.
• Collaborative, person-centred approach to therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and deliver evidence-informed intervention.
• Support clients across lifespan with communication, language and mealtime goals.
• Develop functional, goal-based therapy plans aligned with participant needs and funding pathways.
• Collaborate with families, carers, educators and multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage a varied caseload across home, clinic and community settings (including telehealth).
• Participate in supervision, peer collaboration and ongoing professional development.
