Job summary

Omnia Community Health is seeking a Grade 2 Speech Pathologist to join its multidisciplinary Community Health team. The role involves assessment, intervention and education for children and families, with opportunities to supervise graduates and early career clinicians.

You will work across community settings, clinics, schools and homes, collaborating with educators, families and other professionals to improve communication, language, literacy and participation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Experience working with children and families in community, health, education or disability settings.
• Ability to independently manage a varied caseload and travel within the service area.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech pathology assessment and intervention for children and families across settings (community, clinic, kindergarten, school, home).
• Provide individual and group therapy; collaborate with families, educators and allied health professionals.
• Provide supervision and mentoring to graduate and early career clinicians.
• Contribute to service development, quality improvement and program evaluation; complete clinical documentation.
