Job summary

Applied Communication Skills is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our established and collegial team, delivering specialist assessment and intervention to adults with complex communication needs. The role includes working from our Fairfield office, via telehealth, and in client homes, hospitals, and community settings.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, collaborate with families and care providers, contribute to clinical research and student training, and deliver capacity-building

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
• Current Australian driver's licence, Working With Children Check and National Police Certificate
• Commitment to evidence-based practice
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently across varied settings
• Experience in developmental disabilities, acquired brain injury or trauma-informed practice is welcome but not essential
• Post-graduate experience with complex-needs populations is required for Grade 2 and above

Services are delivered from our Fairfield office, via telehealth, and in client homes, hospitals, community settings, day placements and justice facilities, offering varied clinical experience with the backing of experienced colleagues.
