Job summary

Latrobe Regional Health in Victoria invites applications for a Speech Pathologist (Grade 2 or Grade 3). This full-time or part-time role offers flexibility and negotiable EFT for the right candidate.

You will deliver clinical speech pathology services to an assigned caseload across inpatient and outpatient settings within LRH. The successful candidate will have a relevant degree, eligibility for certification with Speech Pathology Australia, supervise staff and students, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in speech pathology.
• Eligibility for Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist status with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Experience in at least one of the following areas: paediatric feeding and dysphagia, adult dysphagia, laryngectomy, voice disorders, rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Speech Pathology assessment, treatment and management services in line with contemporary evidence-based practice.
• Coordinate and manage clinical services within designated areas to ensure efficient patient care.
• Provide education, support and clinical supervision to staff, students and Allied Health Assistants as appropriate.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement, service development and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, patients, families and external stakeholders to achieve optimal care outcomes.
