Job summary

Optimum Health Solutions in Campbelltown, NSW is seeking a Speech Pathologist to contribute to assessments, diagnoses and a broad range of interventions including dysphagia and AAC. The role supports graduates with mentoring and offers pathways into leadership and mentoring for experienced clinicians.

The successful candidate will work across clinic and community settings with opportunities to specialise or diversify caseloads in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Pathology or currently completing final-year studies.
• SPA eligibility or CPSP status.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
• Working With Children Check and National Police Check.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders.
• Functional communication assessments.
• Speech, language and social communication interventions.
• Assessment and management of swallowing difficulties (dysphagia).
• Design, trial and implementation of low and high-tech AAC devices.
• Development, implementation and review of evidence-based therapy plans.
• Parent, caregiver and stakeholder education.
• Collaborative care planning with allied health professionals, educators and medical practitioners.
• Community, clinic and school-based services.
