Job summary

Optimum Health Solutions is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our NSW/Tasmania clinics. The role supports diverse clients across adult and paediatric settings, with flexibility to tailor caseloads to interests and career goals.

We provide NDIS-focused services, strong mentoring, career pathways, and collaborative care within a multidisciplinary team of therapists. This is an ideal environment for graduates or experienced clinicians to grow and lead in allied health.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Pathology or currently completing final year.
• SPA eligibility or Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders
• Speech, language and social communication interventions
• Assessment and management of swallowing difficulties (dysphagia)
• Design, trial and implementation of low and high-tech AAC devices
• Development, implementation and review of evidence-based therapy plans
• Functional communication assessments
• Parent, caregiver and stakeholder education
• Collaborative care planning with Allied Health professionals, educators and medical practitioners
• Community, clinic and school-based services

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Speech Pathology (or currently completing final year studies)
• SPA eligibility or Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
• Working With Children Check and National Police Check
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
