Job summary

Optimum Health Solutions is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver evidence-based assessments and therapy across adult and paediatric caseloads, with a strong focus on NDIS and disability support. Join a collaborative team with mentoring and career pathways, in NSW/Tasmania clinics across 20 years of Allied Health excellence.

You will work with a diverse client base, tailor caseloads, and contribute to multi-disciplinary care in community, clinic, and school settings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Pathology (or currently completing final year)
• SPA eligibility or Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
• Working With Children Check and National Police Check
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency

Responsibilities

• Assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders
• Speech, language and social communication interventions
• Assessment and management of swallowing difficulties (dysphagia)
• Design, trial and implementation of low and high-tech AAC devices
• Development, implementation and review of evidence-based therapy plans
• Functional communication assessments
• Parent, caregiver and stakeholder education
• Collaborative care planning with Allied Health professionals, educators and medical practitioners
• Community, clinic and school-based services
