Job summary

Optimum Health Solutions, a leading allied health provider in NSW, is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our team across adult and paediatric settings with a strong focus on NDIS and disability.

You will assess, diagnose, design and implement therapy plans, work in clinics and community settings, and benefit from mentorship, professional development, and collaborative multidisciplinary support.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Pathology (or final year).
• SPA eligibility or CPCP status is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
• Working With Children Check and National Police Check.
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders.
• Speech, language and social communication interventions.
• Assessment and management of swallowing difficulties (dysphagia).
• Design, trial and implementation of low and high-tech AAC devices.
• Development, implementation and review of evidence-based therapy plans.
• Functional communication assessments.
• Parent, caregiver and stakeholder education.
• Collaborative care planning with Allied Health professionals, educators and medical practitioners.
• Community, clinic and school-based services.
