Job summary

Bayside Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join the statewide Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation service at Caulfield Hospital. This fixed-term part-time role (3 days per week, 48 hours per fortnight) offers leadership opportunities for Grade 2 or 3 appointments, focusing on communication, cognition, swallowing and voice within ABI community rehabilitation.

You will be part of an interdisciplinary team, contribute to student education, and participate in quality improvement and research

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Speech Pathology (or equivalent).
• Rehabilitation experience in inpatient or community programs.
• Experience in leadership or student education is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Leadership responsibilities depending on Grade 2 or 3 appointment.
• Provide high-quality assessment and management in ABI community rehab (communication, cognition, swallowing, voice).
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to optimise patient care and minimise risk.
• Participate in student education programs.
• Contribute to quality improvement and research activities in ABI rehab.
