Job summary

Marathon Health invites experienced Speech Pathologists to join our team delivering therapy across regional NSW communities, including Griffith, Young and Lake Cargelligo. Full or part-time roles are available to support children and adults in community settings.

You'll work within a multidisciplinary team, contribute to the Waratah for Kids program (0–7 years) and provide services to NDIS participants and other programs as needed, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Speech Pathologist with SPA membership.
  • Ability to work in regional communities and travel to Griffith, Young and Lake Cargelligo.
  • Comfortable with screening and assessment for children 0–7.
  • Team player with a proactive, curious approach.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver therapy services for Waratah for Kids program (0–7 years) including screening and short-term interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and other therapists.
  • Deliver services to NDIS participants and fee-for-service clients as needed.
  • Provide caregiver education and support to build capacity.
  • Support referrals to other services and facilitate access to care.

We have employment and subcontracting opportunities available foraSpeech Pathologist (Full or part-time) to join our team and support programs across theGriffith, Young and Lake Cargelligoregions (Wiradjuri Country). If you're based nearby, we're open to considering other locations for the right candidate.

As part of this role, you will contribute to theWaratah for Kids program. This community-based initiative supports children aged 0-7 years who are experiencing developmental or behavioural challenges and are not currently connected with therapy services. Within this program, you may undertake screening and assessment, deliver short-term interventions, facilitate referrals to other services, and provide education and support to build caregiver capacity. You will work collaboratively with other therapists, community supports, and the Waratah for Kids Paediatric Linker to help children and their families access the support they need.


You will also have the opportunity to work as part of our multidisciplinary team delivering services to NDIS participants, fee-for-service clients, and other community programs as opportunities arise. This variety ensures a rewarding caseload and the chance to make a meaningful impact across a range of settings and client groups.
