Job summary

Gateway Health in Northeast Victoria is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary Allied Health team. The role supports older adults, people with disability, and those with chronic conditions, delivering care in homes, communities, or clinics with a wellness and reablement focus.

The position offers up to 1.9 EFT, flexible hours, and part-time or full-time arrangements in Wodonga or Wangaratta, with a competitive hourly rate under the Allied Health Professionals Victoria

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Speech Pathology.
• Certified Practicing Member of Speech Pathology Australia.
• Demonstrated experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience working with vulnerable community members.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Allied Health and Nursing services to older adults, people living with disability and people with chronic conditions.
• Services delivered in peoples’ homes, communities or in clinics.
• Use a mix of individual and group service delivery models with a focus on wellness and reablement.

About the Role

With up to 1.9 EFT of permanent employment available, this is an opportunity to shape a role that works for you. We're open to discussing part-time or full-time arrangements and offer flexibility for the successful candidate to be based in either Wodonga or Wangaratta.

In this role, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering Allied Health and Nursing services to older adults, people living with disability and people with chronic conditions. Our services are delivered in peoples’ homes, communities or are clinic based. We use a mixture of individual and group service delivery models and have a focus on wellness and reablement.

This role is classified under the Allied Health Professionals Victoria Community Health Centres Multi Employer Enterprise Agreement 2022-2026 at AHP1 Grade 2 $49.38 - $56.78 per hour + superannuation.
