Qualifications

SPA Registration is required.
A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are necessary.
An NDIS check, a Working with Children Check, and a Police Check (or willingness to obtain) are necessary.

Joining our Hobart team as a Speechie, you’ll experience a varied caseload that includes adult and paediatric clients with developmental and acquired disabilities. There will be plenty of opportunities to develop your dysphagia management, AAC prescription and implementation, and general therapy skills.

Our office is conveniently across from Eastlands Shopping Centre, perfect for shopping or client sessions. Nearby, you'll find popular coffee spots and the scenic Clarence Foreshore Trail. A picturesque 15-minute walk leads to the Bellerive Ferry Terminal, connecting you easily to Hobart City. Plus, enjoy stunning views of snow-capped Kunanyi/Mt Wellington in winter.

Day-to-day You Will

Conduct meaningful assessments and design impactful therapy plans in diverse environments, from clients' homes to day centres, parks, and even at the beach.
Collaborate with a committed MDT to develop innovative solutions for your clients.
Build enduring relationships with clients and witness the lasting impact of your work.
