Steps Together Children's Therapy – Perth WA is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide neuro-affirming, family-centred assessment and intervention for children aged 2–12 in home and school settings. The role supports mobile service delivery across eastern Perth suburbs with a collaborative team focus.

The successful candidate will hold a Speech Pathology qualification, current SPA membership, and child-safety clearances.

Qualifications

  • A recognised Speech Pathology qualification.
  • Membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Working With Children Check.
  • National Police Clearance.
  • NDIS Worker Screening.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Up‑to‑date vaccinations.
  • Current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Provide neuro-affirming, family-centred assessment and intervention for children aged 2–12 years in home and school environments.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy goals across language, literacy, speech sound development, fluency, and AAC.

Salary: Annual Salary ($85,000-$110,000 based on experience) + Super + Travel Reimbursement + Bonus Structure

Location: Community role in Perth's eastern Suburbs

The Role

Provide neuro‑affirming, family‑centred assessment and intervention for children aged 2 to 12 years in their home and school environments. Services are for children with a range of skills, needs, and diagnoses. Common therapy goals include language development, literacy skills, speech sound development, fluency and AAC.

We are a small, close‑knit team of Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists who enjoy working together. We are passionate about delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based, neuro‑affirming therapy and celebrating every milestone with children and families. As a mobile service, you will enjoy the flexibility of working from home between visits while staying connected through team discussions, phone check‑ins and termly social catch‑ups. The director works as a practising therapist, ensuring systems and expectations are designed with clinicians in mind. With full administrative support, you can focus on clients and wellbeing.
