Job summary

Curamoir Healthcare Recruitment is hiring a Speech Pathologist to deliver clinical services for children and adults with vision and/or hearing loss. You will conduct individual and group sessions, assessments, and cochlear implant-related work, while supporting education and early intervention programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent.
  • Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Experience with clients who have hearing loss, cochlear implants, and additional disabilities.
  • Paediatric early intervention experience (0-6 years) preferred.
  • Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical services including individual sessions, group therapy, and assessments focused on speech, language, communication, listening and social skills.
  • Support children and adults with vision and/or hearing loss in educational and early intervention programs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external professionals to deliver person- and family-centred care.
  • Monitor progress through detailed case notes and individual plans.
  • Support service development, marketing activities and program expansion.

The Role:

As a Speech Pathologist, you will provide clinical services including individual sessions, group therapy, and assessments focused on speech, language, communication, listening, and social skills for children and adults with vision and/or hearing loss. You will work with complex clients, including those with additional physical and intellectual disabilities, and support educational and early intervention programs such as cochlear implant services. Your role will involve collaborative work with internal teams and external professionals to deliver person- and family-centred care, monitoring progress through detailed case notes and individual plans.

You will also support service development initiatives, assisting in marketing activities and program expansions aligned with strategic goals, ensuring more people benefit from vital communication services.
