Job summary

Healthcarelink Support is seeking a Speech Pathologist for a community setting in Orchard Hills NSW. The role is casual/contractor with up to 20 hours per week, offering a competitive salary and CPD allowance.

You will assess and treat clients of all ages and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve communication and swallowing abilities. The ideal candidate has 1+ year experience, holds a Bachelor’s in Speech Pathology, and has unrestricted SPA membership.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in speech pathology.
• Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology is required.
• Unrestricted Speech Pathology Australia membership is required.
• Networking and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and doctors.
• Strong time management, organization, and record-keeping are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Help with a wide range of speech disabilities for adults and children including mispronunciation, vocabulary comprehension, stuttering, autism spectrum disorders, and swallowing difficulties.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' communication and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy sessions to clients of all ages.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
• Participate in ongoing professional development.
