Job summary

Viatris Australia is seeking a Specialty Care Representative to drive field sales in Allergy and Respiratory, Cardiology and Gastroenterology across the territory. You will engage with prescribers and allied health, educate on Viatris products, and deliver scheduled calls to grow revenue.

You should have a strong sales track record, hospital sales experience, and be eligible to work in Australia. Viatris offers competitive salaries and an inclusive, supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong sales track record in pharma or healthcare.
• Experience engaging with prescribers and allied health professionals.
• Able to establish and maintain relationships with key accounts and opinion leaders.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Allergy and Respiratory, Cardiology and Gastroenterology specialties and allied health.
• Educate and support prescribers and allied health professionals on Viatris products.
• Undertake regular territory calls and grow portfolio within allocated accounts.
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders, prescribers, AHPs and accounts.
• Optimize opportunities and deliver on revenue goals.
• Maintain accurate data in Veeva CRM.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Engaging with Allergy and Respiratory, Cardiology and Gastroenterology, specialties and allied health.
• Ensure our prescribers and AHPs are educated, informed, and supported on the Viatris products pertinent to them.
• Undertake regular sales calls in accordance with the territory stipulated above
• Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, prescribers, AHPs, and individual accounts.
• Optimize opportunities with each account.
• Be able to deliver on both reach and frequency call goals and business development activities.
• Deliver budgeted revenue from sales.
• Accurate maintenance of all aspects of Veeva CRM.

Qualifications for this role include:

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree – Pharmacy, Science, Nursing preferred.
• Strong track record of sales success.
• Hospital Sales Representative experience.
• High performing GP representatives with minimum 5 years’ experience and specialty care sales in their development plans.
• Experience in Allergy and Respiratory, Cardiology and Gastroenterology, is favorable.
• Must have experience in the Australian Pharmaceutical industry.
• Must comfortable with, and be able to effectively persuade, negotiate and influence.
• Must be eligible to work in Australia (Australian Citizen or appropriate Visa holder)
