Job summary

St Mary's Catholic Primary School, Warracknabeal, is seeking a passionate Specialist Teacher for a 0.2 FTE fixed-term position (27/01/2027–26/01/2028). Applications welcomed from Primary or Secondary qualified teachers with expertise in Science, STEM or Performing Arts, or other Victorian Curriculum areas that enrich student learning.

The role involves designing and delivering engaging specialist programs, fostering curiosity, creativity and a love of learning within a collaborative school

Qualifications

• Understanding of and commitment to Catholic Identity and Mission.
• Knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and AITSL Professional Standards for Teachers.
• Experience delivering engaging specialist learning programs.
• Evidence of effective classroom management and positive learning environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with colleagues and families.

• Plan and deliver a high-quality specialist program aligned to the Victorian Curriculum.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety, wellbeing and protection of children.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to enhance student learning outcomes.
