About the Role

St Mary's Catholic Primary School, Warracknabeal, is seeking a passionate, energetic and innovative Specialist Teacher to join our vibrant school community for one day per week (0.2 FTE) on a fixed-term contract.

We welcome applications from both Primary and Secondary qualified teachers with expertise in Science, STEM or Performing Arts. However, we are also open to exploring other specialist areas aligned with the Victorian Curriculum Learning Areas where they enhance and enrich student learning.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to design and deliver engaging specialist programs that foster curiosity, creativity and a love of learning while contributing positively to our collaborative school culture.

Key Selection Criteria

Applicants should demonstrate:

• Understanding of and commitment to Catholic Identity and Mission.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and the AITSL Professional Standards for Teachers.
• Experience delivering engaging and innovative learning programs within a specialist area.
• Evidence of effective classroom management and the ability to foster positive learning environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the capacity to work collaboratively with colleagues and families.
