Job summary

National Dental Care is seeking a Dental Specialist to deliver advanced clinical care within your recognised specialty across our practice network in Australia. You will work in collaboration with general dentists and other clinicians to provide patient-centred, high-quality care.

Responsibilities include complex case management, treatment planning, clinical governance, and mentoring in your area of specialty, while maintaining accurate records and contributing to best-practice standards across

Qualifications

• AHPRA Specialist Dentist registration or eligibility.
• Postgraduate specialist accreditation relevant to the field.
• Proven delivery of high-quality specialist care in private or multidisciplinary settings.
• Commitment to shared care with general dentists and clinicians.
• Mentoring and support for other dentists and clinicians.
• Experience with digital dentistry workflows (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist diagnosis, treatment planning and care within scope.
• Manage complex or referred cases with general dentists and clinicians.
• Educate patients about specialist options and pathways.
• Contribute to governance, quality assurance and best-practice standards.
• Maintain accurate specialist records and documentation.
• Act as a clinical resource and support mentoring in your specialty.
• Support multidisciplinary teamwork for continuity of care and outcomes.
