Qualifications

• Approval to teach special education or experience with autism, intellectual disability, behaviour, and physical disability.
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills for partnerships with students, parents, colleagues and external agencies.
• Ability to develop, implement and review teaching programs, personalised learning plans and health support plans.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of whole-school systems, structures, curriculum and teaching practices for the new school.
• Establish the initial class within the support unit by designing structures and processes to support evidence-based practice and high expectations.
• Deliver inclusive education and support learning outcomes for diverse student needs as the school grows.
