Job summary

Responsibilities

• Support students under the direction of teachers and Allied Health staff.
• Assist with student supervision during yard duty and camps, excursions.
• Support student¿s manual handling, personal care, behaviour support, transition and safety plans.
• Prepare and organise student learning resources, equipment, and curriculum support materials.
• Support students individually and in small groups up to 4 across a range of curriculum areas
• Assist with the implementation of students educational and wellbeing programs.
• Support the emotional and wellbeing needs of the students
• Ensure work areas, materials, equipment, and appliances are maintained in a clean, safe, and ready-to-use condition.
• Work collaboratively and flexibly across all areas of the school
• Provides specialised communication support for students and teachers in areas such as AUSLAN
• Other duties as determined by the Leadership team.
