Job summary

Gilmour Space Technologies is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team near Bowen, North Queensland, located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The role focuses on end-to-end procurement for inventory and non-inventory items, supplier onboarding, and ensuring timely deliveries as we build rockets here in Australia.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain and at least two years of procurement experience, with NV1 clearance

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or other technical discipline.
• 2+ years of Procurement experience.
• NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for inventory and non-inventory items.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with procurement guidelines.
• Support supplier onboarding and due diligence processes.
• Maintain effective supplier relationships and manage supplier performance.
• Obtain competitive pricing for products not covered by existing agreements.
• Assist Finance with invoice issues.
• Maintain ERP data for items, suppliers and prices.
• Research potential vendors.
• Other duties as requested by Management.
