Job summary

Omega HPC AI Pty Ltd in Sydney is building sovereign AI infrastructure and seeks a DevOps and Cloud Engineer to own the infrastructure from day one. This is hands-on work focused on cost-effective, scalable cloud architecture.

You will manage AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC), implement IaC (Terraform/CDK), build CI/CD pipelines, and connect orchestration across compute environments. Full-time role, Sydney-based, with work rights or permanent residency.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on AWS including EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch and VPC.
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform, CDK or equivalent.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines for multi-service backends.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate AWS environment and infrastructure layer.
• Build teardown/startup cycles to manage costs.
• Maintain provider integration layer across compute environments.
