Job summary

Randstad in Wingfield, SA is hiring casual Sorters/Material Handlers for on-call shifts across day, afternoon, and night streams. The role focuses on sorting materials on conveyors, operating site machinery, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Are you looking for highly flexible work? Randstad is hiring Sorters/Material Handlers to join our casual team in the crucial Waste Management Industry in Wingfield, SA. This is a great chance to secure shifts that fit your schedule.

Shift Options

• Day Shift: 5:00am - 1:06pm


• Afternoon Shift: 1:00pm - 9:06pm


• Night Shift - 9:00pm - 5:06am

Role

The role of a sorter is to:

• Sort and separate materials (paper, cardboard, plastics, metal, and wood) while working on conveyor lines.


• Operate machinery on site as required.


• Maintain a clean and safe work area, contributing to overall site cleanliness.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience as a General Labourer, Sorter, or Material Handler.


• Ability to stand for the full shift.


• Resilience and willingness to work in a waste facility environment (dusty/smelly, primarily cardboard and plastics).

Mandatory Requirements

• Must be able to successfully complete a Drug and Alcohol Test and a Police Check.


• Must be willing to obtain vaccinations for Hepatitis A and B.
