Job summary

Randstad is hiring Sorters/Material Handlers to join our casual team in Wingfield, SA. This on-call roster offers shifts across Day 5:00am–1:06pm, Afternoon 1:00pm–9:06pm, and Night 9:00pm–5:06am, with duties including sorting on conveyors and operating on-site machinery.

Ideal candidates have proven General Labourer/Sorter/Material Handler experience, can stand for long shifts, and are willing to work in a waste facility environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Labourer, Sorter, or Material Handler.
• Ability to stand for the full shift.
• Resilience and willingness to work in a waste facility environment (dusty/smelly, primarily cardboard and plastics).

Responsibilities

• Sort and separate materials (paper, cardboard, plastics, metal, and wood) while working on conveyor lines.
• Operate machinery on site as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, contributing to overall site cleanliness.
