Job summary

Noosa Radiology on the Sunshine Coast invites applications for a senior clinical role leading our ultrasound/sonography services. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide clinical and technical leadership, ensure procedural compliance, and support equipment performance.

You will train and mentor new and existing sonographers and students, participate in the clinical roster, and drive quality assurance and accreditation initiatives across the modality.

Qualifications

• Accredited postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound
• Current ASAR registration
• Demonstrated experience across a broad range of ultrasound examinations
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and software
• Sound understanding of quality assurance and accreditation requirements
• Experience in a senior clinical or modality lead/coordinator role
• Experience with protocol development or clinical procedure review
• Familiarity with RIS/PACS systems and medical imaging software
• Involvement in accreditation processes or quality improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical leadership across sonography services.
• Support training and development of new and existing sonographers and students.
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement across the modality.
• Participate in the clinical roster with dedicated administrative time for leadership responsibilities.
