Job summary

PRP Diagnostic Imaging in Western Sydney is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Sonographer to join our expanding team. You will perform a range of ultrasound examinations and deliver accurate reports while maintaining exceptional patient care.

You will partner with doctors and other clinicians to produce high-quality images across General, MSK, Obstetric, and Vascular studies, contributing to timely patient outcomes and a supportive learning environment.

About the Position

OurWestern Sydneypractices offer a wide range of ultrasound services, these include General Ultrasound, MSK, Obstetric, Vascular, and image guided procedures. You will liaise closely with doctors and other medical professional, to ensure high-quality images which enable superior reports, leading to excellent patient outcome. Alongside our team, you will supply excellent customer service, in accordance with PRP values. We invest in technology and process that delivers improvement to reporting service and patient experience, this differentiates us from our competitors and gives our customers the experience they deserve.

About You

You must have a reputation for performing high quality Ultrasound examinations independently whilst providing exceptional patient care. You must have the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and other medical and non-medical personnel. In addition, you must have:

• Qualification in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound and current accreditation with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
• Core competency in either, General, Small parts or MSK
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and external stakeholders
• A caring and respectful attitude to our patients
• Commitment to excellence
• The capacity to balance workload to ensure timely patient care
