Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking a registered radiographer to expand their expertise and work towards a career in ultrasound. You will deliver high-quality radiography services while undertaking postgraduate ultrasound training, gaining hands-on clinical experience across a full scope of ultrasound examinations in a patient-centered, interprofessional environment.

Supported by senior staff, you will develop clinical judgement and technical capability, contribute to education and quality

Qualifications

• Registered radiographer with base ultrasound knowledge or exposure.

Your new role:This is an exciting opportunity for a registered radiographer to expand their expertise and work towards a career in ultrasound. You'll deliver high-quality radiography services while undertaking postgraduate ultrasound training, gaining hands-on clinical experience and progressively developing your skills across a full scope of ultrasound examinations. Supported by experienced senior staff, you'll grow your clinical judgement and technical capability in a collaborative, patient-centred environment.Undertake radiography services while completing postgraduate ultrasound training.Develop practical skills and experience across a broad range of ultrasound examinations.Progressively build clinical knowledge, judgement and capability towards independent sonographer practice.Provide safe, compassionate and patient-centred care within an interprofessional team.Maintain accurate patient records, documentation and service statistics.Develop knowledge of ultrasound equipment quality assurance and maintenance.Participate in clinical education, supervision and support of students and less experienced staff.Contribute to quality improvement, service development and research activities.About you:We're looking for a motivated and committed radiographer who is ready to take the next step in their medical imaging career.
