Job summary

Queensland X-Ray is seeking experienced Sonographers to join our Ultrasound team in the Cairns region. You will perform high-quality ultrasound across general, obs/gynae, MSK and vascular, working across Cairns practices with shifts that vary by hours.

Participation in the on-call roster during weekdays and weekends is required. We value ASAR registration, a minimum of 2 years’ experience, and strong interpersonal skills to maintain excellent relationships with patients and referrers.

Qualifications

• Full ASAR registration is required.
• Minimum 2+ years experience as a fully qualified Sonographer.
• Experience in MSK and vascular imaging is highly regarded.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with patients, staff and referrers.
• Commitment to ongoing skill development and professional growth.
• Passion for delivering an exceptional patient experience.
• Ability to adapt to existing processes and policies.

About the Role

We’re looking for experienced Sonographers to join our Ultrasound team in the Cairns region. This role involves working across our Cairns practices, with shift times varying based on practice hours. Participation in the weekday and weekend on-call roster is required, and both part-time and full-time positions are available.

Our practices offer great variety and as such, you will perform high quality work across general ultrasound, obs/gynae, MSK and vascular. It will also be highly regarded if you hold accreditation in nuchal translucency.

About you

• Full ASAR registration is required
• Minimum 2+ years experience as a fully qualified Sonographer
• Demonstrated experience in MSK and vascular is highly regarded
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including patients, staff, referrers
