Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS) invites applications for a 12-month Sonographer Talent Pool within the Medical Imaging service. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with independence and professional judgement, delivering high-quality imaging to support patient care.

Ideal candidates hold postgraduate ultrasound qualifications with ASAR accreditation, and demonstrate advanced skills, strong teamwork, and commitment to continuous development within SA Health’s Medical

About the role

This 12 month Sonographer Talent Pool offers the opportunity to be considered for upcoming vacancies across our Medical Imaging services as they arise.

Join our Medical Imaging team as a Sonographer and use your expertise to deliver high-quality ultrasound services that make a real difference to patient care. Working with specialised equipment, you’ll perform a broad range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including complex procedures, with a high level of independence and professional judgement.

Your skills will directly support accurate diagnosis and treatment, providing trusted imaging outcomes for radiologists, referring clinicians and surgeons. You’ll bring a thoughtful, innovative approach to scanning, contribute to positive clinical outcomes and play an important role in delivering a responsive, patient-focused imaging service.

We’re looking for an experienced Sonographer who brings advanced clinical expertise, sound judgement and a commitment to quality patient care:

• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound and ASAR accreditation
