Job summary

Statewide – SA Medical Imaging is seeking a Radiographer (Breast Imaging) to provide high-quality mammography screening services across metropolitan clinics and support early detection of breast cancer.

Join a multidisciplinary team, deliver safe, person-centred care, and collaborate with CALHN and stakeholders to ensure a trusted screening service for the South Australian community.

Role is temporary – Part Time, 3 days per week until March 2027, with salary range AHP2 pro-rata and entitlements.

Qualifications

• Recognised Diagnostic Radiography qualification and registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia.
• Experience in general radiography and quality assurance processes.
• Demonstrated empathy and strong communication with diverse client needs.
• Ability to manage priorities while delivering confidential care.

About the role

Join BreastScreen SA as a Radiographer (Breast Imaging) and use your expertise to make a meaningful contribution to women’s health. You’ll provide high-quality, efficient mammography screening services across metropolitan clinics, helping deliver a positive and professional experience for clients while supporting the early detection of breast cancer.

Working as part of a skilled radiography and multidisciplinary team, you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues, clients and service providers to deliver safe, person-centred care. You’ll also build effective relationships with CALHN and other government and non-government stakeholders, contributing to a trusted screening service focused on quality outcomes for the South Australian community.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring strong radiography expertise, a client-focused approach and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.

You will:

• Hold a recognised Diagnostic Radiography qualification and registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
• Bring experience in general radiography and quality assurance processes
• Demonstrate empathy and strong communication with diverse client needs
