Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Presales, Technical Consulting, Professional Services, Customer Success or Engineering.
• Experience working with customers to understand requirements, solve technical challenges and deliver positive outcomes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
• Experience in one or more of: Security/Observability/Cloud or IT Operations/Data Analytics/Enterprise Software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in customer discovery conversations to understand business goals, technical challenges and desired outcomes.
• Deliver engaging demonstrations aligned to customer requirements and use cases.
• Support workshops, proof-of-concept activities and technical validation engagements.
• Build dashboards, searches and use cases that showcase practical customer outcomes.
• Help customers understand the value of Splunk across Security, Observability and IT Operations.
• Collaborate with account teams, partners and internal stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
• Identify customer challenges and recommend practical next steps.

As a Solutions Engineer, you'll join the APJC Geo Solutions Engineering team, supporting customer engagements across Australia and New Zealand. You'll work closely with Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, Specialists, Partners and Customers to deliver technical engagements that help solve business and technology challenges.

Your Impact

• Automation, scripting or API integrations.
• Industry certifications in Security, Cloud, Observability or related technologies.
