Cisco, building on the Splunk portfolio, is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join the APJC Geo Solutions Engineering team. You will support customer engagements across Australia and New Zealand, working with Account Executives, Specialists and Partners to demonstrate and tailor technical solutions.

In this role you will build dashboards and use cases, run workshops and proof-of-concept activities, and help customers understand the value of Splunk across Security, Observability and IT Operations.

Formación

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering or Presales.
• Experience understanding customer requirements and delivering outcomes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in Security, Observability, IT Operations, Cloud, or Data Analytics domains.

Your Impact

In this role, you'll work alongside experienced sales and technical teams to support customer engagements across Security, Observability and IT Operations. You'll have the opportunity to build your technical expertise, develop customer-facing skills and contribute to helping customers solve real business and technology challenges.

• Partner with Sales and Solutions Engineering teams to support customer engagements across ANZ.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Presales, Technical Consulting, Professional Services, Customer Success, Technical Support or Engineering.
• Experience working with customers to understand requirements, solve technical challenges and deliver positive outcomes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• The ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: Security or Security Operations Observability, Monitoring or IT Operations Cloud, Infrastructure or Platform Technologies Data Analytics, Logging or Operational Intelligence Enterprise Software Solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Splunk or similar Security, Analytics, Monitoring or Observability platforms.
• Delivering demonstrations, workshops or proof-of-concept engagements.
• Search and query languages such as SPL, SQL or similar technologies.
• Cloud technologies and/or DevOps.
• Automation, scripting or API integrations.
• Industry certifications in Security, Cloud, Observability or related technologies.
