Job summary

Birdeye Australia is hiring a Solutions Engineer (presales) APAC in Sydney. You will sit with Account Executives, deliver demos, design AI agent workflows, and show clients AI that executes, not just assists.

You’ll lead technical discovery, address security and integration topics, collaborate with Sales and Product, and help shape proposals while scaling AI-driven customer success across Healthcare, Retail, Automotive, Real Estate, Hospitality and Home Services.

• Build working AI agents for prospects and customers, so they see their own brand, locations and data in action before they sign.
• Help clients work out their AI strategy, including what to automate, where humans stay in the loop and how to govern it at scale.
• Own the technical evaluation, from security and integration questions through to API conversations with IT and data teams.
• Partner with Sales, Product and Customer Success to shape proposals, sharpen our positioning against competitors and hand over a clean, well-scoped implementation.
• Feed what you hear in the field back to our product team and influence what we build next.

The Role

We’re building an AI-native go-to-market team, and this is one of the most technical seats in it. As a Solutions Engineer you’ll sit alongside our Account Executives in the deals that matter, working with CMOs, marketing, CX and operations leaders at brands with 40 to 1000+ locations. You won’t just demo software. You’ll design and build real AI agents for clients, shape the strategy behind how they deploy them, and show them AI that executes, not just assists.

What you’ll do
