Cisco in Melbourne is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our team supporting Public Safety and Emergency Services across Victoria. In this customer-facing role, you’ll partner with account teams and serve as a trusted technical advisor to organisations responsible for protecting the community.

You’ll help customers address complex operational challenges and design technology solutions that enable secure communications, resilience, and mission-critical outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in networking, telecom, data centre, cloud, or related tech.
• Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, consulting, architecture, or engineering role.
• Expertise in Enterprise Networking, Security, Collaboration, Cloud/AI Infrastructure, or IoT.

Responsibilities

• Support Public Safety and Emergency Services across Victoria as a trusted technical advisor.
• Lead technical discovery workshops, demonstrations, solution design activities, and PoC engagements.
• Translate complex technical concepts into business and operational value for diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with Cisco specialists, partners, and customer success teams to deliver outcomes.
