Job summary

Amana Living is seeking a Team Leader to provide direct leadership, support and direction to a team of Domestic cleaners, ensuring high-quality service to clients across Perth CBD and surrounds. The role is full-time, 76 hours per fortnight, with a focus on mentoring, onboarding, and performance management.

You will lead, train and evaluate staff, maintain strong communication, and partner with HR and the Hospitality Manager to address issues and drive service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience as Team Leader/Supervisor; aged care experience desirable.
• Proven ability to lead and supervise a team; address performance.
• Experience facilitating meetings/trainings.
• Proficient in MS Office and MS Teams.
• Knowledge of Aged Care/Home Care Standards (desirable).
• Tertiary Frontline Management qualifications.
• National Police Clearance (valid within 6 months).
• Current WA C Class Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day mentoring and coaching to the Solutions Cleaning Team.
• Onboard and orient new staff; issue company property and equipment.
• Model best practice in client care and coach staff.
• Conduct annual staff performance evaluations.
• Maintain regular communications to align with expected outcomes.
• Address performance issues with HR and Hospitality Manager.
• Hold regular 1:1 meetings to discuss development.
• Conduct onsite visits for performance issues and staff requests.
• Plan and lead SBAL staff meetings; provide updates to improve team dynamics.
• Oversee payroll data uploads and weekly reports to Finance.
• Monitor leave requests with Hospitality Manager.
• Maintain staff records and relationships with clients.
• Attend compulsory training and team meetings.
• Participate in incident meetings and follow up hazards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of work practices.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Hospitality Manager and Head of Hospitality Experience.
