Job summary

Databricks Melbourne-based role seeks a technical evangelist to drive adoption of the Data Intelligence Platform within the local customer base. You will build trusted advisor relationships, design architecture solutions, and deliver hands-on proofs-of-concept to showcase value.

You will collaborate with Account Executives to map customer goals to scalable data solutions, sharing best practices and leading regional workshops to grow the Databricks community.

Qualifications

• Experience with coding in Python, Java or Scala.
• Proficient with Big Data Analytics technologies and Spark.
• Experience delivering complex solution architecture designs.

Responsibilities

• Form successful relationships with clients and provide technical and business value.
• Act as an expert in big data analytics to drive adoption of the Databricks Platform.
• Develop reference architectures, how-tos, and demos; lead regional workshops and meet-ups.
• Grow knowledge to become a technical or industry specialist.
