Job summary

Databricks Melbourne is seeking a technically oriented sales specialist to drive adoption of our Data Intelligence Platform. You will build relationships with customers, articulate architecture and deployment options, and lead workshops to demonstrate value.

Ideal candidates have hands-on coding experience in Python/Java/Scala, deep knowledge of Spark, and fluency with cloud platforms. This is a collaborative, customer‑focused role within a global AI/Data company.

Qualifications

Engage customers in technical sales and communicate clear outcomes.
Develop relationships with accounts and cross‑functional teams.
Proven ability to discuss architecture, design and implementation.
Hands-on experience with Spark and cloud platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

Form successful relationships with clients throughout your assigned territory, providing technical and business value to Databricks customers in collaboration with Account Executives.
Operate as an expert in big data analytics to excite customers about Databricks and become a trusted advisor on architecture and deployment.
Scale best practices by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demos, and lead regional workshops and meet-ups.
Grow knowledge to a technical/industry specialist level.
