Job summary

Citadel Edge Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking a Solutions Architect to design integrated AV/VC solutions and support presales efforts. You will produce high-quality documentation, bills of materials, proposals, and cost estimates for client engagements.

You will communicate with project stakeholders, coordinate with sales, operations, and delivery teams, attend training, and drive innovation across Citadel Edge’s AV solution offerings. Flexible work options available.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in the design and delivery of integrated and stand-alone AV collaboration systems and software and hardware-based video conferencing systems.
• Experience with sales processes and experience with producing labour and hardware estimates.
• Demonstrated understanding of networks, specifically relating to AV control systems, UC/VC and AV over IP technologies.
• Strong knowledge of AV vendor specific products including Extron, Crestron, QSC, Biamp.

Responsibilities

• Produce documentation with a high degree of accuracy to enable effective sales, installation, and commissioning of Audio Visual, Video Conferencing, and Unified Communications systems, including the production of: bills of materials, proposals, tender responses, schematics, elevations and layout drawings, statements of works, proposals, RFQ’s and tender responses.
• Communicate and coordinate with project stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal Citadel teams including inside sales, operations, warehousing, procurement, and administration.
• Attend training and maintain certifications.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement of Citadel Edge’s solution offering.
• Support technical teams in producing achievable and accurate estimates and costings, and work with the teams through delivery of the work.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Solutions Architect will provide solutions support to both Sales and Delivery teams. This includes providing technical advice, facilitating client workshops, developing innovative engineered solutions in line with market and client requirements, and producing high quality and technically accurate supporting documentation.

What’s Your Edge?

6 years of experience in the design and delivery of integrated and stand-alone AV collaboration systems and software and hardware-based video conferencing systems.

Experience with sales processes and experience with producing labour and hardware estimates.
