Job summary

Australian Motoring Services is expanding its Architecture Practice and seeking a Solution Architect who can bridge business strategy and technology delivery.

Based onsite in Melbourne with hybrid options, you will lead from concept to delivery across automotive services, EV tech, logistics, data, cloud and customer platforms to design scalable solutions that drive real business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, CS or related field.
• 3+ years' experience in Solution Architecture or delivery.
• Knowledge of TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT and modern architecture practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture from concept through to delivery.
• Design end-to-end solutions across multiple systems and domains.
• Translate business needs into scalable, secure technology outcomes.

Australian Motoring Services is expanding its Architecture Practice and seeking a Solution Architect who can bridge business strategy and technology delivery.

Working across a diverse landscape including automotive services, EV technologies, field operations, logistics, integration, data, cloud and customer platforms, you'll design scalable solutions that drive real business outcomes.

What you'll do

• Lead solution architecture from concept, option analysis and business case through to delivery


• Design end-to-end solutions across multiple systems and domains


• Translate business needs into practical, scalable and secure technology outcomes


• Present recommendations and trade-offs to stakeholders and governance forums


• Collaborate closely with engineering, delivery teams and vendors


• Contribute to architecture standards, governance and best practice

What you'll bring

• Strong knowledge of integration, APIs, cloud, data and emerging technologies


• Ability to communicate technical concepts to business and executive stakeholders


• Experience working within enterprise architecture frameworks


• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills


• Exposure to automotive, mobility, logistics or field services is highly regarded

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Computer Science or related discipline


• 3+ years' experience in Solution Architecture, Software Engineering or Technology Delivery


• Knowledge of TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT and modern architecture practices
