Job summary

St John of God Health Care is seeking a strategic and hands-on Solution Architect to lead the architecture, design, and evolution of our enterprise corporate systems portfolio. The role covers HR, Payroll, Finance, Procurement, and Workforce Management, driving secure, scalable and integrated solutions across multiple sites in Perth and Melbourne.

You will partner with business leaders and delivery teams to optimise platforms, reduce technical debt, and align technology with enterprise standards

Qualifications

• You will hold a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience.
• You will have at least five years’ experience in a Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, or similar role.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions across platforms such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, TechnologyOne, UKG.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver secure, scalable, and integrated solutions.
• Develop solution architectures, technical designs, roadmaps, and implementation strategies aligned with enterprise standards.
• Provide technical leadership throughout project delivery, collaborating with business stakeholders, delivery teams, vendors, and technical specialists.
• Drive application modernisation, integration, automation, platform optimisation, and reduction of technical debt.
• Establish and promote architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices across the corporate applications portfolio.
• Lead architecture reviews and ensure compliance with cybersecurity, privacy, governance, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to technology roadmaps, investment decisions, and the evaluation of emerging technologies, including AI and automation.
